Telepipe

There is a constant demand for dredging installations which can reach great depths. In the past the reachable depth was limited by the length of the dredger. If greater depths were required, the vessel needed to be lengthened. This was a very costly operation, particularly for one-off projects. The Telepipe offers an alternative way to reach greater depths without lengthening the vessel.

Telescopic expendable with stronger and lighter materials
The Telepipe is a plug-and-play telescopic suction tube. It can be installed with little or no changes required to the ship itself or its gantries.

The great advantage of exchangeability is made possible by keeping the weight of the system comparable to a normal suction tube. This is to use stronger and lighter materials, like fibre-reinforced composite and plastic parts.
