Start-up inspections for new built vessels

On a new IHC dredger of the 7025 series for a Chinese customer, which was built at Xinhe shipyard in 2008/2009, one of the IHC Technical Services electrical engineers is doing the cold wire check before commissioning. It is the fourteenth 7025 dredger, built by IHC Merwede in China and which was handed over to our customer by the end of March 2009.

With this procedure, IHC Technical Services is closely involved in the initialization phase of new dredgers and therefore a crucial part of a successful start.
