For all types of suction dredgers
IHC Parts & Services submerged dredge pumps are single walled conventional and high performance types complete with drive, support and control systems. There is a wide range of features and characteristics available. Power outputs currently vary from 150 to 6,500kW (10,000kW feasible) and systems attain a mixture density of up to 1.8t/m3. Depths attained are already below 120 meters (150 meters feasible).

Submerged dredge pump for hopper dredgers
This integral suction assembly offers high production and is ideal for use with more difficult soil types. It comprises a dredge pump and a flange-coupled electric motor whose speed corresponds with the desired pump speed. Integration of the pump and motor affords a highly reliable and compact unit. It has been designed for easy maintenance and is furnished with almost maintenance-free seals. All necessary lifting brackets and tools are delivered. The suction process is easier to control, mixture concentration remains unusually consistent and very high concentrations are achievable.
Submerged dredge pumps for cutter dredgers
The operating benefits offered by submerged dredge pumps for cutter dredgers are the same as for hopper dredgers. Submerged dredge pumps can be driven by different drive trains from diesel and hydraulic motors to high and low speed electromotors and various underwater drive connections such as gearboxes and bearing blocks. Each offers benefits appropriate to dredging materials, circumstances and weight and space limitations.
