Hopper Nozzles
The efficiency of hopper discharge depends on the design, number, size and positioning of the nozzles combined with jet pump and jet water systems. The provision of a system completely tailored to the configuration of a vessel and its task is a key element in total added value.
Draghead nozzles
The nozzles used for the loosening and fluidising of bottom material are essentially of two types - integrated into the Weldmax block for maximum resistance to wear, and easily replaceable nozzles with stainless steel bushes. The nozzles on a draghead are set out across the full draghead width to optimise the fluidising process. Their diameter is typically a function of their number and the water pressure employed.
While the two of these types are very different in design and material, all have been designed for optimal performance, particular resistance to wear, and simple replacement and maintenance.
