Cutter ladders and spud carriers on their way to Dalian

ICS (the production facility of IHC Merwede in Guanghzou China) has made the first two cutter ladders and two spud carriers of the type CSD 8527 ready for transport to Dalian.
One cutter ladder has the total weight of approximately 250 ton and a spud carrier weighs 190 ton.
At this moment, ICS is processing six orders of cutter ladders and spud carriers of this type next to some of the smaller type CSD 7025.

The above mentioned deliveries take place in the context of the delivery of cutter suction dredgers to Chinese customers using the joint venture between IHC Merwede and Delain Lionang Shipyard.
This delivery is eventually meant for Shunghang Dredging that has ordered six of these suction dredgers. These two suction dredgers are the first of their kind that are going to start operations this year.

This extraordinarily expresses the leading position of IHC Merwede in the Chinese market.
