Van Oord

Van Oord NV is a dredging and marine contracting company with a worldwide reputation for building tomorrow's infrastructure. Van Oord arose out of the merger of Ballast Ham Dredging with Van Oord Groep. They are dredging and marine contractors in heart and soul with a tradition of over a century of successful projects. They carry out projects around the world with respect for the environment in which they work. The engines of one of their trailing suction hopper dredgers, called Sagar Hansa, had to be overhauled. SDM took the lead and completed the task successfully. The pictures show SDM is also capable of executing precision work, for example on the piston plugs.
